Thank you so very much for all the things you did to help me prepare for winter. All of you did such a fine job and I’m very grateful! An extra treat was having the young moms and their darling little kids visit with me. If my house could sing with joy, I know it would. Surely old James would have approved of your demonstration of faith in action!

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to you and your congregation for the gift of work and time that you bestowed at our location. The areas of the grounds that were spruced up are instantly noticeable, and I have already fielded several calls about how much more beautiful the building looks! I am very impressed by the sense of community and stewardship displayed by your church. We are indebted to you because of your kindness.

We are able to do what we do because of the unselfish acts of individuals like you!

I can’t tell you how much the staff and I appreciate the time you gave to help weed and clean up the playground and flower beds at the shelter/advocacy building. Choosing to volunteer shows you approve of the work we do and that you are committed to helping us bring healing and restoration to the women and children we serve.

Generous, thoughtful individuals like yourselves help us fulfill our mission to end violence against women in our communities. It want you to know the staff and I say, “We appreciate you!”

Thank you so very much for all the help you gave to this ancient lady on the day of the “Big Serve”. You can’t imagine how grateful I am for all that you did: bringing up and installing the screens, bringing up deck chairs and replacing storm windows with screens, etc.
It is hard for me to be so dependent on others, yet I am so grateful to all of you for volunteering to help.
The children! How delighted I was to have them here! They are all so very cute and well-behaved. This neighborhood of ancients must have rejoiced at their presence.
Thanks again and may God richly bless you for your kindness.
