Job Overview

The Associate Pastor will play a key role in advancing FBC's mission and vision by partnering with the Lead Pastor in preaching, pastoral care, and leadership. This position will primarily focus on providing leadership and oversight to the ministry staff team, ensuring they are equipped, supported, and aligned with the church’s goals and vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Lead Pastor in preaching, teaching, and shepherding the congregation.

• Provide leadership and oversight for the ministry staff team, including direction, accountability, and support to ensure effective ministry outcomes.

• Mentor and coach ministry staff to foster their spiritual growth and professional development.

• Lead and oversee pastoral care needs, including visitations, funerals, weddings, and counseling.

• Collaborate with the FBC Elder Team to implement the church's vision and strategic initiatives.

• Strong alignment with the mission and vision of Frankenmuth Bible Church.

• Extensive experience in shepherding, leading, and overseeing ministry staff in a local church context.

• A compassionate heart, humble spirit, and a passion for pastoral ministry.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and inspire others.

• Formal theological education (bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field) is strongly preferred
