WHAT WE SEEK TO DO
Our Goals
What are we hoping to accomplish?
Let’s be honest… people are busy. With work, school, soccer games, and dance recitals, people already have enough things on their plate. At Frankenmuth Bible Church, therefore, our goal is not to arbitrarily make you more busy than you already are, but to be intentional with your time for the purpose of seeing you mature in your faith. In light of this, we have four strategic goals that we have called our people to pursue as they embrace the mission and vision of Frankenmuth Bible Church:
We want to see our people “Gathering”
We have a firm conviction that believers are called to gather regularly (Hebrews 10:25). Because of this, we are committed as a church to gather together each week for worship on Sunday mornings at 9:30am & 11:15am. In addition to regularly gathering on Sunday mornings, we also encourage everyone to take part in our Community Group ministry, where individuals and families come together every other week for the purpose of intentionally engaging in gospel-centered relationships.
We want to see our people “Growing”
God’s will for all believers is spiritual growth (1 Thessalonians 4:3). Therefore, we have made it our aim to create an environment where people are being continually challenged to grow in their faith. From our expository teaching on Sunday mornings that digs into the scriptures, to a commitment to spiritual disciplines within our Community Groups, our desire is to see people progressively changing more and more into the image of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18).
We want to see our people “Giving”
As believers, we are called to be like Jesus Christ. And we know that the Bible clearly reveals to us that the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). For this reason, we choose to be a community of believers who are regularly committed to generously giving our time, talent, and treasure for the sake of His Kingdom.
We want to see our people “Going”
The beauty of the Gospel is not only about the fact that we get to see our own lives transformed by God’s grace, it’s about the fact that we get to be a part of the greatest mission on earth: advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ for the Glory of God and the gladness of His people! Therefore, we encourage every member at Frankenmuth Bible Church to be a light to the world… whether that means going to preach the gospel overseas, or simply going next door.
